USERNAME
Use the username that was allocatd to you by Logistor when you registered. All usernames are case sensitive. For example, if your username is SMITH, it must be entered exactly as allocated. Smith or smith will not work.
PASSWORD
Use the password that was allocatd to you by Logistor when you registered. All passwords are case sensitive. For example, if your passowrd is SMITH, it must be entered exactly as allocated. Smith or smith will not work.
REMEMBER ME
This is a useful feature that will remember your login details. Not recommended for shared computers.
FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD
If for some reason, you forget or lose your password, select this option and a replacement will be issued to you. It is important that your e-mail address is correct as all information is sent to this address.
COOKIES
Cookies are small pieces of code that are stored on your computer that allow us to recognise you and enable you to gain access to your records. People have this notion that cookies are destructive, place viruses on your computer, install malware etc. This is just not true. Cookies in our form are totally harmless and the only piece of information that is stored is your login details.
JAVASCRIPT
Javascript needs to be enabled in your browser in order to update and set various details in the database. Once again, as like cookies, javascript will not leave your machine opn to virus infection
or any malicous content from this site. You can of course disable javascript once you have finished and logged out of your account.
LOGGING OUT
It is very important that you log out of your account and not just close your browser window. By logging out of your account, all cookies and other details are closed down proprly. If you just
close your browser window, your login details will not be destroyed properly and may still be available if another person uses your machine.
